New Business Manager

270M's digital marketing careers division is looking for a New Business Executive with experience in client acquisition for our digital agency. This person should be willing to network, mine new prospects, introduce new prospects to our agency, and assist the agency in closing new clients.

The Role: Lead the agency’s efforts to grow through new client acquisition. Plan, direct, and coordinate all new business and general agency marketing activities for the company.

Securing qualified prospects is key to the agency’s growth. Understanding the agency's strengths and developing a list of reasonable and stretch targets to accurately identify categories of opportunity and specific client prospects is pertinent to this position. Facilitating direct conversations with key prospects and industry leaders is imperative.

Core responsibilities include:
  • Create a strong and efficient marketing program to raise awareness of the agency among key prospects and the industry
  • Research potential prospects and make short- and long-term prospective client recommendations
  • Maintain a database of qualified prospects
  • Build and execute action plans against these various targets
  • Work with agency leadership to establish an ongoing list of prospects
  • Contact key prospects regularly to build relationships and secure meetings
  • Serve as the first point of communication between agency management and prospects and/or consultants
  • Arrange for agency management to meet with prospects

Active new business meetings requirements: Lead all aspects of the production of new business pitches from the initial stages of a pitch to distributing materials after the pitch. These tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to all RFPs/RFIs
  • Write and present credentials section of the presentation
  • Gather and compile presentation sections into a cohesive deck
  • Lead all aspects of the coordination and development of the itinerary for meeting times and agendas
  • Manage the coordination of leave behind materials
  • Manage and maintain quality control of all new business materials
  • Establish and track business development's annual budget

Marketing Requirements: Crafting a distinctive and effective marketing program for the agency will lay the foundation for successful new business efforts.

  • Ensure one look and feel for all agency communications in spearheading the development and production of all types of marketing materials from prospect leave behinds to all elements of the agency’s “press kit,” including printed materials, web development, etc.
  • Have the ability to present at industry events, make new contacts at trade shows, and represent our agency well.
General Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Hands on experience or strong understanding of digital marketing and social media
  • Strong sales experience and demonstrable accomplishments

Social Media Intern

270M is looking for a rockstar Social Media Intern to add to our team!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administrative account assistance.

  • Help with onboarding new clients and setting up accounts. Secure social media handles, update bios and “About” section copy, organize social assets in our digital library indicating usage history and relevant rights issues.
  • Organize and send out product mailers.
  • Develop "in the moment" content (i.e. cover social live for special events, photo shoots, press, etc.) to complement pre-planned content.
  • Work closely with content management and account team members, providing support with day-to-day duties by pitching in with creating content calendars, copy writing and reporting.
  • Research and report on the best practices, trends and new features within the social and marketing industry.

Community management support.

  • Answer questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner while working in real-time with an always-on approach across all social media channels.
  • Listen, respond, ask questions and engage audiences to cultivate organic engagement, while elevating sensitive situations to appropriate parties.
  • Build online reviews and reputation by leveraging positive client experiences and testimonials.
  • Post and schedule content across a variety of social media channels for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Rising junior or senior college student from an accredited college or university.
  • Prior internship experience in social media or community management is preferred.
  • Passionate and strong social media user who understands best practices, tools, and visual design/brand aesthetic with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Photography, video, and design skills are a plus.

Account Manager

At 270M, the Account Manager is the bridge between the client and the agency. You will be responsible for working with all key functions on both the client and agency sides to obtain input needed for the agency to create its best work and ensure that the agency is meeting the client’s needs. You will manage internal and external communications, identifying the best paths forward, and driving projects to successful completion.

This position is responsible for managing all account needs. You should have an understanding of both social and digital marketing and advertising, and how to effectively integrate all tactics within a larger campaign. This role requires that you proactively manage both the clients to obtain information when needed as well as agency strategy and team members (design, copywriting, production) to deliver high quality work on schedule.

As an Account Manager you will develop an in-depth understanding of the clients’ business and ultimately act as a trusted advisor, guiding the development of campaigns and marketing programs to assist the client in achieving business objectives. In addition, you are the internal orchestrator of all activities within the agency, ensuring that all departments are communicating and working together to deliver projects on strategy, on time and on budget.

Core Responsibilities

The specific details of this role will vary, but common activities include:

  • Regular communication and liaison with direct clients and other key stakeholders to obtain information required to initiate and progress projects and understand the business and competitive environment in which they are operating
  • Managing the digital and social marketing strategy for key agency accounts

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
